Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 1970s. Lennox was paid a allowance and worked part-time in order to make ends meet. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance compared to that of her classmates. Then she began to consider alternatives. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 when she joined the group called Dragons Playground. However she left prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She was the lead singer to The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva that was out around 1992. It was a huge success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was launched in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The collection comprised of four songs that were improvised. The E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let the door open... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independently-released album. Later, Lennox joined her fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career with her debut album Diva in the year 1992. It was the basis of many hits songs such as"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has released six solo album compilations and studio albums.
